Kristine is a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, a Certified Psychospiritual Therapist with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care, and a Somatic Experiencing ® Practitioner in Training. Kristine completed the Intermediate Level of SEP training and is working towards completing the Advanced Level.

Kristine’s primary experience has been working with adults and couples. Her experience includes providing support to people who are navigating the wounds of emotional and early developmental attachment trauma, PTSD, as well as supporting those experiencing mental health challenges such as depression, anxiety, and personality disorders. Kristine enjoys working with couples and uses Emotionally Focused Therapy to support them to understand their interaction cycle and improve their relationships. In her spare time Kristine enjoys life-giving activities such as reading, working out, birdwatching, spending time in nature, and connecting with friends.

Kristine resonates with Attachment Theory and is trained in various modalities including EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy), EFIT (Emotion-Focused Therapy for Individuals), Narrative Therapy, Spiritually-Integrated Psychotherapy, SFBT (Solution-Focused Brief Therapy), and she integrates Somatic Experiencing® techniques into her practice. Relationship is foundational to her work and Kristine believes wholeheartedly in the value of connecting with a safe and trusted other. Using a trauma-informed approach, Kristine endeavours to work collaboratively with her clients to facilitate effective therapeutic change, and walk alongside them on their journey towards healing, growth, and wholeness. She is committed to her own healing process and sees this as a fundamental aspect to her growth as an embodied psychotherapist.
